At Valley View, we are passionate about helping families follow Jesus. When it comes to children's ministry, that means we have created fun, engaging, age appropriate spaces for your kids. Whether you've got babies and toddlers or pre-teens, you can be sure that your children will encounter loving volunteers who will encourage and support your kids as well as exciting and interactive activities, crafts. lessons, and worship that will make church somewhere your kids look forward to coming.
We take the safety of your children very seriously. When you check in your kids inside the Family Entrance, you'll print out a name tag for each child with a unique code for them. You'll keep a corresponding tag with all of your children's codes that you'll use at pick up time. When you come back after service is over, our volunteers will check your tag to ensure that it matches up with the name tag on your child!

All of our kids, from birth through 6th grade engage in curriculum from Orange. The lessons are designed to meet your child where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially. As a ministry, our desire is to come alongside you, the parents, to help your child grow up knowing who Jesus is and how much they are loved. We want to do all that we can to support you as you take advantage of the 936 weeks you have with your kids from the time they're born until they graduate high school! You can find lots of valuable information at the Phase Wall (located outside the Nursery) and at the Resource Wall (located near Check In) that will encourage you in ways to be intentional with your children. One of our favorite resources from Orange is the app called Parent Cue. Download it today for great prompts that will remind you to engage with your children throughout the day in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.
Your babies will be nurtured by our loving volunteers while you attend the main worship service. We've created a safe and engaging environment where your little ones will get to play, sing, have a snack, and hear a simple Bible story.
Your preschooler will engage with Orange's "First Look" Curriculum. Every lesson revolves around one of three basic truths: God Made Me, God Loves Me, Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever. Your child will participate in engaging, age appropriate games, worship time, activities, and crafts, as well as enjoy a snack.
Your Elementary aged kids will be welcomed into a dynamic experience with the "252" Curriculum! The name of the curriculum and the 3 basic truths your kids will learn are based off of Luke 2:52. By the time your kids leave elementary school, our hope is that they'll know: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, I should treat others the way I want to be treated. They'll participate in an exciting time of worship, group activities, a video-based lesson, and craft time.

The Parent Cue App helps every parent do something each week to help move their child toward a deeper faith and better future. The App features a countdown for each child that shows you how many weeks are left until graduation, so you make the most of the time you have. There are five different cues that will be given to you throughout the week that will challenge you to be intentional with your time.
